The Self Study Program consists of a 9-theme curriculum that naturally unfolds from month to month.

SSP meets virtually every third Wednesday (March X - December X) from 6:30-8:30pm EST.

*all conversations will be recorded so you can revisit at anytime.

This program is most impactful if you are able to join us for all sessions. These sessions will contain new material, specific practices & exercises, and reflections.

Weekly home-explorations include journaling practices, movement activities, relationship building exercises, and more!

Monthly Self Study Hall (think “office hours”) where we brainstorm and collaborate on what’s coming up for you

The Slef Study Program is for you if you have this underlying feeling of, “I think something’s missing.” SSP is a way to dive into your life in a more wholehearted, integrous, and courageous way. It’s is an invitation and space for you to practice wholeheartedness, integrity, and courageousness in your journal, with the rest of the self-study participants, and in your life.

Expect to create connections, explore ideas, and expand your understanding of yourself and the world around you.

SSP is not for you if you’re looking for therapy or a support group as Kate and Ruby are not mental health professionals. SSP program is also not for you if you’re looking for someone else to do the work for you.

The Self Study Program is an opportunity for you to lean into your own personal power that is inherently yours to inhabit, nurture, and take responsibility for.

Nope. This will be a mixed community of folks with differing experiences on their journey of understanding and knowing ourselves. It’s designed this way because we all get to be each other’s teachers throughout our lifetimes. In this space, expect to share wisdom of experience and words of wisdom with your fellow studies, and expect to learn something new from the community too.

The Self Study program lasts over 9 months because we are creating a container for growth - think about anything that you’ve learned how to do well.

Two things: it takes time to learn something new, and it takes practice to implement new learnings.

This 9 month long classroom- style container is exactly that. A space where you can work through what’s coming up in a supportive environment and a space where you can practice the new skills you’re learning.

Another piece of the Self Study Program is unpacking some of what we think we already know and learning something new in it’s place.

It shouldn’t go unnoticed that Kate and Ruby also love how it takes 9 months *ish* for a fetus to fully develop. It takes a comforting, nurturing, nutrient-dense, spacious container *the womb* for a fetus to continue developing - to explore and develop new strengths and possibilities. The Self Study space is just that for you in this time of your life.

Monthly group meeting on the 3rd Wednesday for 2 hours.

Monthly optional Self Study Hours (think: Office Hours) once per month for 1 hour.

Bi-Monthly optional one-on-one call with Kate and Ruby for 30 minutes to be used within the length of the 9 month program.

One full weekend virtual Heartfelt retreat November 19 & 20. This will consist of two virtual sessions on Saturday with a break between sessions, and a third on Sunday morning.

Throughout the program, we will be sharing daily, weekly practices, or monthly practices. Expect to spend between 10 - 90 minutes per day in your self self study practice. Sometimes the practices we suggest will be journaling, a movement practice, a conversation, sitting, dancing, drawing, or reading. There will be periods throughout the program where you’ll find more space in your life or feel more motivated to implement certain practices. There will be others where something else takes more of your time and attention. All of it is ok - and, the more consistently present you are with the program, the more you’ll receive from it.

Self-paced means that you are responsible for your self study practice.

That means that no one else can do it for you. If you are not very present with the program (ie meetings, office hours, home explorations) you likely won’t feel satisfied.

Self-paced means that there will be periods throughout the program where you’ll find more space in your life or feel more motivated to implement certain practices.

There will be others where something else takes more of your time and attention. All of it is ok - and, the more consistently present you are with the program, the more you’ll receive from it. You will have access to the content from the program for 1 additional year after the program has ended.

No. The SSP is not therapy nor are Kate and Ruby therapists. Kate and Ruby both see their own therapists and highly recommend therapy. The SSP is a wonderful program to utilize alongside therapy. It’s not necessary that you be in therapy to participate in this program.

Kate and Ruby co-created this program in 2020 combining years of experience in their own personal self study practice, as well as coaching and facilitating self study practices, into this well-rounded 9 month long program. 

Kate is a certified Personal Trainer and E-RYT 500 Yoga Teacher. She is also currently in the process of becoming a licensed Integral Coach.

Ruby is both an E-RYT 500 Yoga teacher and is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor.

Kate and Ruby also both have backgrounds in music and dance which they recognize plays a large role in their understanding and love of bodies in development.

A large portion of their training has been in the practice of svadhyaya: the study of oneself. Kate and Ruby are always growing, shifting, developing.

If, at any time, you would no longer like to continue participating in the Self Study Program, that is absolutely your choice. The entire program cost is non-refundable whether you are paying in full or doing monthly payments. On that day that you enroll in the program and set up your payment choice you are entering into a binding agreement to complete the total cost of the program. The total financial investment of the SSP is $2970.

If you apply and set up your payment plan (either by paying in full or by choosing to pay 6 monthly payments) before March 1, 202X, you save $300 on the total price of the program.

The cost of the program is non-refundable for two reasons:

The first being that there are a limited number of spots available in the program and the program will be full.

The second being that the Self Study Program is an investment.

Because you are paying money for this program, you’re more likely to commit to the practices even when you find it challenging.

There is no penalty for choosing to split up the payments.

If you choose to make 6 payments, your card will be charged on the same day each month for 6 months.
